Their most important gig…hosted by the absurdly tweedy Bob Harris, who introduced them with the withering condescension as practitioners of “mock rock.” Their performance of “Jet Boy” and “Looking for a Kiss” made an incalculable impression on countless impressionable youths. “I couldn’t believe it,” recalled the future Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones. “They was just all falling about all over the place, all their hair down, all knocking into each other. Had these great big platform boots on. They just didn’t give a shit, y’know? I thought it was great.”

From Brooklyn, I love the Yankees, Giants, Knicks and Rangers. A Ph.D. in quantum chemistry, summers are spent playing baseball now that 20 years of coaching are over.
My mom taught me to scrapbook; my dad taught me to play ball; my grandmother taught me to cook; my Uncle taught me to play guitar; my pastor taught me to preach; and I taught myself to juggle and play the harp. I dig music of all kinds and love to jam; love to gig; and I love my family.
