My Odiezzz are Still rolling through my mind ~ John Hartford is an American classic. At the Post Office (club) in Augusta, I was watching his chord progressions more than listening to the song. He never missed a beat, stopped singing the lyrics and started singing the chord progressions. I looked at him, and he had this big grin on his face, then he made a comment about experiencing the song instead of picking it apart. Then he continued on with the song. Afterwards, we went out to his “silver bullet” and burned a couple. Great night!

One of my all-time favorites - saw John and his son Jamie in a small bar in State College Pa in 1988 - it was amazing!  maybe 30 people in the place and I was 5 feet from them :-)
