… the first was made in 2004; the second in 2006 and the last in 2008. Anyone know if there is a fourth planned for 2010?
Just overheard my girls discussing skin color
amynicole21:
Apparently, the little one said that two of her toys weren’t related because they were different colors. Her sister pointed out that “Duh! Mommy and Daddy [were] married, and he’s dark brown and Mommy is pink and we’re tan. So it doesn’t matter, ok??”
I love getting insight into how my kids view things. As if we’re all hues from their big box of Crayolas. Color me enamored.

I’ll probably be tumbling again, like last year.
Choice between Caribbean party or Gods and Goddesses party. Leaning towards the Gods and Goddesses because work people will be at the Caribbean do, and that won’t do. To be honest the most attractive option would be staying home but have to attempt to try and be social occasionally. Oh,...

Remember when you were young,
You shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there’s a look in your eyes, Like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire Of childhood and stardom, Blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! You reached for the secret too soon, You cried for the moon. Shine...
Happy Christmas!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had my daughter and my son, with his new bride, and their 2 dogs (to add to our 3) over the house and it was a joyous ruckus of a time.
Waiting, waiting, waiting, ...
… so it’s 8:23 AM on the left coast and I have been up since 7:00 AM waiting for my wife, son, daughter-in-law and daughter to wake up. The tree is on, I’m half-way through the first pot of coffee, the dogs (all 5 of them) are ready and they are still sleeping. Almost makes me want a grandchild.
Off to Church ...
… for the family Christmas Eve service. It’s a great time, all the kids put on the nativity play and it’s priceless to see all the little kids dress us. We still go to this service even though our kids are now in their early 20’s.
Peace everyone.

Last night we watched this show about the process for getting to be a Green Beret. It was called Two Weeks in Hell. Not only was it fascinating, but it got me through today when I kept thinking “Oh my god, this day is hell. If I get one more paper cut I’m going to kill myself.” Because I kept thinking of what those guys go through just for a chance to become a Green Beret and god...
